Unplanned power interruptions can cause thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenues for clients. At JHV we firmly believe a well planned and executed preventative maintenance program is the best way to avoid unplanned interruptions.

Some of the maintenance services we provide are:

  • Inspect termination for leaks, cracked or chipped porcelain and improper grounding
  • Inspect manhole for potential problems such as leaking splices, failing rack systems, proper arc proofing, and cable identification—and update as-builts as needed.
  • Check pad-mounted transformers for problems such as rust, leaks, overheating, and to be sure they are tight and insulated (if required).
  • Check transformer vaults for problems such as inadequate ventilation, poor lighting, and proper fusing. We tighten and clean primary and secondary connections as needed.

    Attention to the safety of both our employees and the job sites we work on is of the utmost importance. At JHV we promote a culture of safety for our employees through a comprehensive training program administered by our in-house Safety Director.
