Unplanned power interruptions can cause thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenues for clients. JHV is a strong believer in maintaining cable installations to prevent interruptions. Some of the maintenance services we provide are as follows:

 

  1. Inspect termination for leaks, cracked or chipped porcelain and improper grounding

  2. Inspect manhole for any potential problems such as leaking splices, failing rack systems, proper arc proofing and cable identification & update as-builts as needed.

  3. Check pad mounted transformers for potential problems such as rust, leaks and overheating. We also check connections to be sure they are tight and insulated (if required).

  4. Check transformer vaults for potential problems such as inadequate ventilation, poor lighting and proper fusing. We will also tighten and clean primary and secondary connections as needed.
