Fault Location & Cable Testing
JHV uses the latest technology and best equipment to locate any type of cable fault. We can locate anything from a direct buried 1/0 cable fault to much more complex Network systems usually used in larger downtown City applications. Although we use the latest technology we also employ both new and old proven techniques to get the job done. We have to date not walked away from a job without locating the fault for our client. As is the case with other services JHV is often called out where others have been unsuccessful & we pride ourselves in applying every technique available to locate the fault as efficiently and as cost effective as is possible. We can locate faults for the following types of applications:
- Single and multi-conductor synthetic
- Paper Lead Cable
- Low & medium pressure oil filled cable
- Pipe type cable applications
- 5KV to 345KV PILC
We will locate faults in any type of construction from duct bank, PVC & submarine cable to direct buried. Once faults are located we will repair and proof-test to owners specifications.
